Top 3 Attractions for a Disney Addict
2.) Peter Pan's Flight - This classic Fantasyland attraction came from the mind of Walt Disney himself and is still an incredibly popular ride to this day. The pirate ship you ride really does fly and lets you see a tiny, glowing London down below, as well as an aerial view of Neverland, plus the chance to fly through a couple of exciting scenes from Peter Pan! It's pure Disney magic for young and old.
1.) Pirates of the Caribbean - One of the most famous theme park rides ever, Pirates of the Caribbean blends thrills, adventure, charm, and even relaxation all in one terrific ride! It's a must-do on any Disney Vacation and will make anyone a fan!
Top 3 Resorts for a Disney Addict
2.) Wilderness Lodge - Like AKL, Wilderness Lodge's cavernous lobby captures the rugged, majesty of the Northwest and our National Parks with its Grand Canyon fireplace, a bubbling spring and footbridge, massive teepee chandeliers, and so much more!
1.) The Grand Floridian - As Walt Disney World's flagship resort, The Grand Floridian offers the most stores, restaurants, and luxury! The huge lobby is the definition of elegance with its intricate glass domed ceilings and the live orchestra/pianist playing throughout the day. Our favorite detail is the tile work throughout the resort containing hidden Disney characters.
Top 3 Snacks for Disney Addicts
2.) Zebra Domes - Only available at Animal Kingdom Lodge, Zebra Domes are literally creamy, custard domes with a zebra pattern across the top. They're difficult to explain, but they are so delicious! At the Mara, AKL's counter service restaurant, you can get a large pack for a snack credit. You will never be the same.
1.) Dole Whip Float - One of the most famous Disney treats of all time has to be the Dole Whip, although we prefer the Dole Whip Float. Anyway, a Dole Whip is pineapple flavored soft-serve; and trust us, it's amazing. We don't know what Disney puts into it, but there's a reason the line outside of Aloha Isle and Sunshine Tree Terrace in Adventureland is so long! Once you've had your first Dole Whip, you will want to come back to WDW just to have another.
Top 3 Restaurants for Disney Addicts
2.) Any World Showcase Restaurant - Each World Showcase pavilion features a restaurant offering a taste of that country's respective cuisine. The restaurants here are always gorgeous and make you feel as if you're dining in a foreign country, and the service is always excellent. Once again, guests dining at a World Showcase restaurant discover that WDW is so much more than just characters and fantasy.
1.) Be Our Guest - One of Disney's newest restaurants can be found in the New Fantasyland and is designed to look exactly like the interior of the Beast's Castle from Beauty and the Beast! Cross the drawbridge and enter the castle where enchanted suits of armor whisper and snore and get the chance to dine in the Rose Gallery, the West Wing (complete with enchanted rose), or the Grand Ballroom where snow drifts outside the window. If you visit for lunch, Be Our Guest is a counter service and you get to pick where you sit; but at dinner, Be Our Guest is a standard restaurant offering fine dining!
Top 3 Must-Do Experiences for Disney Addicts
2.) Pin Trading - A popular pastime at WDW is Pin Trading! Disney pins not only make great souvenirs, but they are also collectibles. You can trade with any Cast Member at any time or ask to see a resort gift shop's pin board and trade off of that! It's so fun, but addicting!
1.) Ride the Monorail - Lastly, in order to be a true Disney addict, a ride on the famous Monorail is a must! Sure, it's just a form of transportation, but its Disney's own unique method of transportation and an icon!
So these experiences are just what you need to become a Disney Addict! B
