If you haven't noticed, cupcakes are quite a trend these days; and Walt Disney World has followed suit! There are many decorative and unique cupcakes to sample at the parks and resorts; and today, we are reviewing the S'mores cupcake from Disney's Wilderness Lodge's food court, the Roaring Fork!

This chocolate cupcake is topped with marshamallow creme frosting and toasted to a golden brown (just the way I like my marshamallows!) Also, a piece of chocolate is stuck in the top, just like what you put on your s'more! Cute, right?

So this is definitely a cool cupcake, especially in the Wilderness Lodge's rustic, outdoors setting, but is it as good as it looks?

Unfortunately, we weren't big fans of this cupcake. We hope we just visited on an off-day, but the cake itself was a little too dense, despite the graham cracker crust at the bottom and another piece of chocolate hidden inside! The marshamallow frosting was decent, but when it comes down to taste, we can't deny that typical frosting is just tastier.

Overall, it was fun getting to try something sweet and creative, as well as fitting for our visit to Wilderness Lodge, but we sadly have to say that it was disappointing when it came down to the taste test.
