"Welcome to those of you joining me from Disney on Wheels and those of you just hopping aboard. I am the 4th stop on our Magical Blogorail."
Today we are discussing our favorite quick service restaurants at WDW! We always enjoy a good dining article, so we this topic is right up our alley!

First of all, for those of you who don't know, there are two categories of restaurants at WDW: quick service and table service.

Quick Service restaurants are typically set-up like a cafeterias and the prices are naturally much more affordable. The menus used to consist of typical theme park fare, such as burgers and fries; but recently, Disney has been improving their quick service menus to provide more variety and healthy options.

Table Service restaurants, on the other hand, are sit down restaurants with waiters and waitresses, menus, and a higher price tag. You can also make reservations at table service restaurants; and there are character meals included in this category!

We have a few quick service restaurants that we like to frequent during our Disney World vacations, such as Columbia Harbor House, Riverside's Mill food court, and Casey's Corner; but one of our all-time favorites is Sunshine Seasons at The Land pavilion in Epcot!

Sunshine Seasons has a cafeteria set-up with several different stations offering their own menus, such as a station which serves just sandwiches, another that serves Asian fare, another which offers soup and salads, grilled items, grab n' go, and then desserts!

What makes Sunshine Seasons stand apart is that the menus here are  unique in comparison to other quick service menus, and the food is healthy and really, really yummy! In fact, we enjoy the food here just as much as the dishes served at some of the table service restaurants!

Also, the veggies grown in The Land's greenhouses, such as what you see in The Living with the Land attraction, is actually served here!

Another interesting note is that with the exception of World Showcase's Akershus character restaurant, Sunshine Seasons is the only other restaurant at Epcot which serves a breakfast! Good to know for early risers looking to beat the crowds for a ride on Soarin'!

Take a look at a few of our favorite choices at Sunshine Season!
This is a Turkey and Monterey Jack Cheese Sandwich on Ciabbata bread from the Sandwich station. As a side, we chose Sunshine Season's potato salad which is very tasty! This is sandwich is one of our favorites as it is fresh, filling, and a far cry from just a typical, plain sandwich.
The Dessert Station at Sunshine Seasons is awesome due to the variety unique of desserts they serve! Pictured above is Sunshine Season's popular Strawberry Shortcake. It's is very light and fresh. This dessert station also features unique cupcakes, cakes, standard desserts, and one of our favorites, Creme Brulee!

It's great that guests can enjoy a fancy dessert for a quick service price!

So we recommend you drop by Sunshine Seasons during your vacation to enjoy a restaurant with lots of variety and truly delicious, and nutritious, food for a great price! We are confident that it could soon become a favorite of yours too!
